For lovers of both cars and carré history, this vintage Hermès Carrosserie 90cm silk scarf in light blue and white is a gem. Designed by the iconic Philippe Ledoux, it spirals from centre to border with charming vignettes of horse-drawn carriages and early motorcars, framed by a crisp white border and minty light-blue ground. The golden wheels and rich brown bodies of the vehicles give the design real depth and a quietly luxurious feel.

Crafted in pure silk twill with hand-rolled edges, this square has been worn and loved and is now ready for a second life. There are several visible marks: scattered light stains on the white border (particularly in the corners and one side), plus a few small spots close to the “Hermès – Paris” signature and within the design. No holes or structural damage noted. When folded and tied, most of the marks disappear into the folds, leaving the joyful Ledoux artwork front and centre. The state is reflected in the price. 

A perfect scarf for vintage-car enthusiasts, carré collectors and anyone who loves a graphic, conversation-starting Hermès print with a softer, pastel colour story.

Good condition yet, a Vintage, pre-loved item that has been worn and kept in precarious environment. 

Silk remains soft with good structure and colour saturation but several light yellowish stains on the white border (shown in photos) and a few tiny marks within the design – noticeable on close inspection, but easy to hide when folded or tied

No major pulls or runs observed 

 

Priced to reflect its gently loved condition.
