A beautifully illustrated 90cm silk carré in the classic “Bride de Cour” design, centred on ceremonial equestrian tack rendered in rich, painterly detail. The composition reads like a framed tableau: an ornate bridle arrangement with tasselled elements and gilded medallion motifs set against a bold central field, finished with a graphic border of interlocking links and harness-inspired hardware. The print balance is particularly strong on this piece, combining architectural symmetry with the softer movement of ribbons, fringe and leatherwork shading.

The design is signed F. de la Perrière in the corner, and the title cartouche “Bride de Cour Hermès-Paris” appears within the border, both details photographed. Hermès is renowned for the depth and clarity of its silk printing, and this carré showcases that house standard with crisp linework, nuanced tonal gradients, and a refined, lustrous finish.

Marks and light staining are visible in the close-up photographs and have been reflected in the price.
