A graceful pair of vintage clip-on earrings crafted from luminous mother-of-pearl in softly sculpted, petal-like forms. Each earring combines a rounded mother-of-pearl disc with a long articulated drop, delicately shaped into an abstract flower petal or wing.

The natural shell displays subtle variations of ivory, cream and pale gold, catching the light with a gentle iridescent sheen. Because mother-of-pearl is an organic material, the two earrings are not completely identical, adding to their individual character.

Finished with silvertone clip-on fittings, these lightweight statement earrings offer elegant movement without requiring pierced ears. Their organic shape and pearlescent finish feel particularly evocative of the sculptural costume jewellery popular during the 1980s.

The mother-of-pearl components remain intact, with no cracks or losses . The variations in colour, texture and shape, including cream and pale golden areas are inherent to the natural shell.

Light surface marks and minor edge wear are consistent with age and previous use. The reverse fittings show some age-related discolouration and wear to the silvertone finish.

The clip mechanisms are complete, their tension and comfort are functionning
