A distinctive vintage Italian hat by Aspettando il Miracolo, crafted in black open-work mesh with a softly structured crown and gently flared brim.

The loosely crocheted construction gives the hat an airy, graphic quality, allowing glimpses of the hair beneath while retaining a strong sculptural silhouette. Somewhere between a bucket hat and a cloche, the shape sits close around the head before opening into a softly undulating brim.

The all-black palette keeps the piece understated despite its unusual construction, making it particularly effective with monochrome tailoring, minimalist dresses or layered transitional looks. The open-knit texture gives it a distinctly late-1990s / early-2000s Italian fashion character without feeling overtly retro.

Finished internally with a grosgrain band and original Aspettando il Miracolo label, marked Made in Italy.

Very good vintage condition. The open-knit structure remains well preserved with no obvious major breaks or losses visible in the mesh. Light surface wear and minor irregularities consistent with age and previous use. Interior label and grosgrain band remain present. 

Condition is reflected in price.
