This vintage Hermès “Cliquetis” 90 cm silk carré by J. Abadie celebrates the musical “clink” of ceremonial harness and military accoutrements. On warm shades of chocolate, sand and cream, rows of richly decorated sword knots, epaulettes, cords and gilt medallions form a sweeping arc across the scarf, framed by a chain-link border and a shield cartouche reading Hermès Paris Cliquetis.

Printed on classic 100% silk twill with hand-rolled edges, the neutral brown palette and gold detailing make this an easy piece to style with camel coats, navy tailoring or denim.

Condition: good vintage condition with a tiny repaired hole on the border and a few barely visible stains, only noticeable on close inspection and easily lost in the folds when worn. A beautiful choice for lovers of equestrian and ceremonial Hermès designs and warm neutral colourways.
