A beautifully understated pair of vintage Venise Collection suede court shoes in a rich rust, burnt sienna brown tone.

Cut in soft suede with a clean rounded-almond toe, low-cut vamp and slender mid-height heel, the design is elegant without being overly formal. The warm tobacco-rust shade gives them a particularly refined autumnal feel and works beautifully with tailoring, dresses, denim or tonal neutrals.

The shoes are leather lined and marked Venise Collection to the insoles. Venise Collection was established in Paris in 1985 and became known for elegant European footwear, expanding into the UK from 1990. The styling of this pair is consistent with late-1980s to 1990s classic pumps, although an exact production year has not been established.

A very wearable vintage designer shoe with the kind of simple, elongated silhouette that has returned strongly to contemporary fashion.

Good vintage condition with visible signs of previous wear consistent with age. The suede shows some rubbing and variation to the nap, particularly around the toes, sides and heel area. The leather soles show substantial surface wear from use, while the sculptural heels remain particularly attractive and well defined.
