A substantial vintage hinged cuff bracelet combining warm ivory-toned natural-looking segments with richly detailed gold-tone metalwork and a large central cabochon.

The bracelet is constructed in broad curved sections, creating a bold rounded silhouette around the wrist. Decorative gold-tone mounts feature granulated and ropework-style detailing, while the centre is set with an oversized domed stone in smoky honey, brown and grey tones. The stone has attractive natural-looking variation and translucency, giving the bracelet an organic, almost archaeological quality.

A hinged construction and pin-style fastening allow the rigid bracelet to open for wear, making the piece both practical and dramatically sculptural.

The overall design draws on ethnic and tribal-revival jewellery traditions, particularly the type of richly worked metal and natural-material combinations popular in Western fashion from the 1970s onwards. It would work beautifully worn alone as a statement cuff, or mixed with other vintage brass and natural-material jewellery.

Good vintage condition with visible age-related wear. The natural-material sections show variation, fine surface marks and some darker areas consistent with age and handling. There are also visible joins and fine lines within the sections, which appear inherent to the construction and material. The gold-tone metal has developed areas of patina and darkening, particularly around the decorative mounts and fastening. The central stone shows surface wear and natural-looking inclusions. The hinge and pin fastening appear intact and functional. Please refer to the photographs for the most accurate representation of condition.
