A vibrant vintage Gucci pareo dating approximately from the early 1990s. Designed during the Tom Ford era,  in a striking patchwork-style arrangement of turquoise, emerald green and deep blue panels, it combines oversized fragmented GUCCI lettering with playful Mediterranean-inspired motifs, including tropical fish, seashells, starfish, citrus fruit and a radiant sun face.

A contrasting red border frames the composition and intensifies its colourful resort aesthetic. Generously proportioned and lightweight, it can be tied around the waist as a beach sarong, draped as a cover-up or worn as an oversized scarf or shawl. A distinctive piece of vintage Gucci beachwear with considerable decorative appeal.

Pre-owned vintage condition with signs of previous wear consistent with age. The lightweight fabric shows general creasing and some unevenness in the colour and print. There appear to be occasional small marks and minor irregularities along the edges, while the red border shows light wear. Some very visible discolouration, maybe due to water splashes exposure to sun, are visible especially on the side.

Please examine the detailed photographs carefully for the overall condition of the fabric, print and hand-finished edges.
