A vintage pendant by British costume jewellery maker Miracle, designed in the brand’s characteristic Celtic Revival style.

The softly triangular silver-tone pendant features an ornate openwork frame with engraved linear detailing and stylised teardrop motifs. At its centre sits a polished, irregularly oval green cabochon, held by four visible claws. The stone has a softly mottled, almost luminous appearance that evokes jade or serpentine and contrasts beautifully with the antiqued metal finish.

The reverse retains the same sculptural openwork design, while a substantial integrated loop allows the pendant to be worn on a chain, leather cord or ribbon. Its combination of medieval-inspired decoration and fluid, almost modernist geometry gives it a particularly distinctive character.

Miracle was established in Birmingham in 1946 and became known for costume jewellery inspired by Celtic, Scottish and historical designs, commonly using pewter alongside imitation agates, Bohemian glass and other stone-effect cabochons.

Width: Approx. 3.8 cm 

Good vintage condition, with surface wear, darkening and minor variation to the antiqued silver-tone finish consistent with age. A small area of green oxidation is visible near the lower reverse edge. The cabochon is secure, with light surface marks visible under close inspection. Pendant only; no chain included.
