This exquisite Charvet Place Vendôme reversible cashmere & silk scarf pairs cloud-soft, ultra-fine beige cashmere with a contrasting burgundy silk lining printed with a geometric foulard motif. One side is pure, brushed cashmere with delicate fringes; turn it over and you reveal smooth patterned silk – two scarves in one, light enough to wear indoors yet warm enough for crisp winter days.

Founded in 1838 and still based on Place Vendôme in Paris, Charvet is the world’s first shirtmaker and a hallmark of discreet French luxury, long favoured by kings, writers and heads of state.

Barely used considering the scarf is from the 1950´s, this true vintage silk scarf is in very good shape. the Silk is still crisp and, despite minor discolouration that wouldn ´t be visible when worn, the scarf looks very fresh.
