A decorative vintage brooch with a richly detailed openwork filigree setting and turquoise-effect glass cabochons, designed in a style reminiscent of Czech and Bohemian costume jewellery traditions. The ornate circular composition, antiqued gold-tone metalwork and domed faux-turquoise stones evoke the collectible Gablonz jewellery aesthetic, with a decorative spirit inspired by Art Deco-era Neiger-style brooches.

The piece centres on a large turquoise-coloured glass cabochon, framed by four smaller stones and intricate lace-like metalwork. Good vintage condition with light surface wear and age-related patina to the metal. The stones appear to be turquoise-effect glass rather than natural turquoise. No maker’s mark noted, so references to Czech, Gablonz and Neiger are stylistic/inspirational rather than a confirmed attribution.
