A beautifully detailed black cotton lace tunic by Talitha, the London-founded luxury bohemian label celebrated for richly worked resortwear and artisanal detailing.

Cut in a relaxed, straight silhouette, the piece is constructed from semi-sheer openwork cotton lace formed into repeating circular medallion motifs. The round neckline opens into a deep split front, framed with intricate braided crochet-style trim and finished with long ties ending in substantial tonal tassels.

Long sleeves are edged with decorative openwork bands, while the hem and side slits are finished with tiny black bobble detailing. A more open lace panel across the upper back adds another subtle change of texture. The overall effect is beautifully intricate despite the completely monochrome palette.

Unlined and intentionally sheer, it can be worn as a luxury beach or poolside cover-up, layered over a slip as a mini dress, or styled as a long tunic over narrow trousers.

Talitha's aesthetic was very much about the sophisticated travelling wardrobe rather than conventional beachwear, combining Indian artisanal techniques with a polished, cosmopolitan bohemian sensibility. The original label was stocked internationally by retailers including Harrods, Net-a-Porter, Matches, Mytheresa, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus.
