An unusual vintage artisan necklace combining a delicate strand of faceted petrol-blue beads with an oversized architectural pendant in warm gold-tone metal.

The pendant has an open, asymmetrical grid construction, formed from slender bars with cross-shaped terminals surrounding a deep blue rectangular cabochon. Its deliberately irregular geometry gives the piece a distinctive modernist, almost Brutalist character, while the suspended upper bar allows the pendant to move naturally when worn.

The necklace is finished with a traditional spring-ring clasp. Its combination of jewel-toned blue glass and handcrafted-looking metalwork makes it an expressive statement piece, particularly effective over a simple black, cream or white neckline.

Good vintage condition, with light surface wear and some variation to the gold-tone finish consistent with age and previous use. Minor irregularities in the pendant are  inherent to its handmade or artisan construction.
