A striking vintage modernist silver cuff bracelet with a bold sculptural form and a geometric orange shell inlay, believed to be spiny oyster shell.

The bracelet is formed from a wide sheet of silver with softly curved, architectural edges and an asymmetrical raised setting across the front. The warm orange-red inlay provides a vivid contrast against the cool silver and displays natural linear striations and tonal variation consistent with shell.

Its substantial proportions, fluid metalwork and geometric setting give it a strong 1970s–1980s modernist and artisan jewellery aesthetic, with similarities to silver jewellery produced in Mexico and the American Southwest during this period. However, there is no visible maker’s mark or origin stamp in the photographed areas, so no specific attribution is made.

The result is a distinctive statement piece with a sculptural, almost brutalist quality, ideal for collectors of vintage silver jewellery, modernist cuffs, artisan jewellery and bold natural-material accessories.
