A refined piece of late-1990s Chanel, this vintage Spring 1999 chain belt features a finely worked silver-tone double chain finished with a sleek rectangular plaque embossed with the CHANEL signature.

Designed under Karl Lagerfeld, the piece captures the clean, graphic minimalism that characterised Chanel accessories at the close of the decade. Rather than relying on the house’s more familiar interlocking CC motif, the elongated polished logo plaque gives the belt an understated, almost industrial feel, making it particularly easy to wear with tailoring, knitwear or a simple dress.

The reverse bears the Chanel authentication plaque stamped CHANEL © 99 P – Made in France, dating the piece to the Spring 1999 collection.

The long chain construction allows it to sit elegantly at the waist or lower on the hips, while the fluid double-link structure gives the belt movement and a jewellery-like presence.

Very good vintage condition. Light surface marks and minute scratches consistent with age and normal wear are visible on the metal and logo plaque. The chain remains bright and well presented, with the CHANEL branding and 99P authentication plaque clearly legible.
