A bold pair of vintage clip-on earrings featuring two oversized ivory faux pearls arranged in an articulated double-drop design.

A large domed pearl forms the upper section of each earring, while a second round pearl hangs below from a small connecting link, allowing gentle movement when worn. The exaggerated scale gives the earrings a distinctly glamorous 1980s statement-jewellery character, while the soft cream finish keeps them elegant and easy to style.

Height: Approx 3.5 cm

 

 

Good vintage condition. 

The pearls retain an attractive ivory lustre, hardly visible light surface rubbing, f and subtle tonal variation consistent with age and previous wear. The gold-tone backs show visible patination, darkening and surface wear.

Both clip mechanisms and transparent comfort pads are present. The clips were checked for tension and comfort, the connecting links  remain secure.

 

Avoid soaking or abrasive cleaning, as moisture could affect the internal fixings or aged metal finish.
