A beautifully composed vintage necklace crafted in 14ct gold, formed from multiple fine strands that gather into a softly sculptural central knot. The design has a fluid, almost textile-like quality, with the strands moving freely yet held in balance by the focal knot, creating a sense of quiet structure and elegance. Although classic in design it seems to date from the late 80s.

The gold has a rich, warm tone, enhanced by the subtle texture of the strands, which catch the light with a gentle shimmer rather than a high polish. The knot motif—long associated with continuity and enduring connection—adds both visual interest and symbolic depth, while remaining understated and refined.

Marked 14K and ITALY on the clasp, the piece reflects the precision and craftsmanship associated with Italian gold jewellery. The strands are all aligned and the clasp is secure. Clear presence of the hallmark.
