IT 42

An understated vintage Prada midi skirt in deep midnight navy, crafted in 100% silk with a beautifully subtle satin sheen.

The design is characteristically restrained yet distinctive: a clean, elongated straight silhouette is punctuated by two unusually large patch pockets positioned high on the front, giving the skirt a quietly utilitarian quality typical of Miuccia Prada's late-1990s and early-2000s vocabulary. Gentle shaping through the waist and hips keeps the silhouette elegant rather than severe.

The reverse is comparatively minimal, with discreet shaping and a central back vent allowing ease of movement. A concealed zip fastening at the back maintains the exceptionally clean finish.

The silk changes subtly with the light, moving between midnight blue, inky navy and almost charcoal tones. It is precisely the sort of Prada piece whose appeal lies in proportion, fabric and construction rather than overt branding.

The skirt shows general creasing and light signs of previous wear consistent with its cotton-and-linen composition. Subtle tonal variation and faint surface marks  around the front, waistband and lower hem section.

The contrasting pocket panels show gentle creasing, while the gold-tone buttons display minor surface wear and variation.
