A sculptural pair of vintage gold-tone hoop earrings with a rounded, almost spherical silhouette and an all-over geometric engraved texture.

Each earring forms a substantial hollow dome that curves forward from the ear, giving them a particularly strong three-dimensional profile. The surface is engraved with a repeating interlocking geometric motif, interrupted around the centre by a narrow decorative horizontal band. The pattern catches the light beautifully and gives the earrings much more depth than a plain polished finish.

They fasten with hinged wire closures that pass through the ear and hook securely into the opposite side. The hollow construction allows the earrings to achieve their generous volume without the weight of solid metal.

Good vintage condition with light surface wear, rubbing and minor variation to the gold-tone finish consistent with age and use. Hinged ear wires are intact. The textured surfaces remain well defined.

Avoid soaking or abrasive cleaning, as moisture could affect the internal fixings or aged metal finish.
