A distinctive vintage sterling silver link necklace composed of repeating sculptural elements with a softly organic, modernist form.

Each section is articulated, allowing the necklace to sit fluidly around the neckline while maintaining a strong graphic rhythm. The links alternate between rounded and angular forms, giving the piece a hand-worked, almost abstract quality rather than the uniform appearance of a conventional chain.

The necklace closes with a shaped box-style clasp integrated into the design, keeping the silhouette clean and continuous. The reverse construction shows the articulated joins clearly, while the front has a smooth, softly aged silver finish.

The overall aesthetic is consistent with late 20th-century modernist and studio jewellery, particularly the type of silver design popular from the 1970s through the 1990s. No maker has been confidently identified from the visible photographs, so it is best described as an unattributed vintage silver design rather than assigned to a specific workshop.

A versatile piece for collectors of vintage sterling silver jewellery, modernist necklaces, sculptural chains and artisan silver accessories.
