A distinctive pair of Prada pumps dating to circa 2000, capturing the house’s sophisticated and quietly experimental aesthetic at the turn of the millennium.

Crafted in rich burgundy suede, the shoes have an elongated pointed toe and a beautifully sculpted low kitten heel. The heel is the defining feature: moulded with an intricate woven or basket-weave effect in an antiqued bronze-toned finish, giving an otherwise restrained pump an architectural and unexpectedly decorative detail.

The asymmetric-looking folded suede construction over the vamp further emphasises the elongated line of the shoe.

Their combination of a razor-sharp pointed toe, unusual sculptural heel and deep wine colouring is particularly evocative of Prada's late-1990s/early-2000s design language, making them an appealing piece for collectors of original Y2K designer fashion as well as a very wearable evening shoe.

Good vintage condition with visible signs of previous wear consistent with age. The suede shows some rubbing and variation to the nap, particularly around the toes, sides and heel area. The leather soles show substantial surface wear from use, while the sculptural heels remain particularly attractive and well defined.
