An opulent multi-strand necklace composed of numerous irregular freshwater pearls in softly luminous ivory and cream tones. The strands combine petite rice-shaped and seed pearls with larger baroque-style pearls, interspersed with silver-tone spacer beads to create rich texture and movement.

At the centre hangs a decorative pendant watch framed by a petal-shaped surround, apparently accented with pale mother-of-pearl or shell inlays. The pendant bail is stamped 925, indicating sterling silver, while the watch case back is marked stainless steel caseback, Japan movement and metal bezel. A hook-and-eye fastening and ornate silver-tone end caps complete the design.

Part necklace, part timepiece, this is a highly decorative statement accessory with an ornate, romantic character. It would work particularly well for bridal styling, evening wear or worn over a simple black dress.

Pre-owned vintage condition with natural variations in the freshwater pearls, including differences in shape, colour and surface texture. Some tarnishing, patina and age-related wear are visible to the metal components.

The watch movement  was tested and fitted a fresh battery and confirmed that it keeps time accurately.
