A playful vintage necklace composed of graduated-effect round beads in a soft seafoam-green shade, finished with a small carved fish pendant and gold-tone fittings. The translucent beads display a distinctive luminous band that appears to float across their centres as the necklace moves, strongly suggesting fibre-optic “cat’s eye” glass rather than natural aquamarine.

The stylised fish pendant has an attractive pale blue, cream and softly speckled appearance. From photographs alone, its material cannot be confirmed; it may be carved stone, reconstituted stone or dyed shell, we conservatively describe as a carved stone-effect pendante.

Finished with a traditional spring-ring clasp, the necklace has a cheerful coastal character and would work particularly well as summer, resort or Mediterranean-inspired jewellery.

Good vintage condition, with light age-related wear and some darkening to the gold-tone fittings. The beads show natural-looking variations in colour and internal pattern. The pendant has mottling, inclusions and surface variation consistent with its material and construction.
