An exuberant vintage dress clip formed as an openwork bouquet of flowers, curling leaves and scrolling foliage, densely set with multicoloured rhinestones in jewel-like shades of pink, blue, turquoise, green and golden yellow.

Three larger round stones create a vivid central line through the composition, surrounded by dozens of smaller bezel-set crystals. Two articulated side drops finish with bright aqua-blue stones, while a smaller central drop adds movement and sparkle. The intricate gold-tone setting has finely textured leaves and rope-edged bezels, giving the piece the ornate appearance associated with European costume jewellery of the interwar and early mid-century period.

The reverse is fitted with a large hinged, pointed dress-clip mechanism designed to grip fabric. It can be worn at a neckline, on a lapel, scarf, waistband or evening dress, although the relatively substantial mechanism is better suited to medium-weight or structured fabric than delicate silk.

Good vintage condition with age-related wear to the gold-tone finish, darkening and oxidation to parts of the metalwork, particularly around the articulated drops and reverse. The rhinestones appear largely present, although some display minor variation in colour, brightness or foil condition consistent with age. The dress-clip mechanism is intact.
