A distinctive pair of vintage Prada pumps dating to the mid-to-late 1990s, with the strong, slightly offbeat proportions that defined much of the house’s footwear during the decade.

Made in Italy, the shoes feature a black textured wool-blend or bouclé-style fabric upper, contrasted with glossy black patent-effect detailing at the heel and upper edge. The softly squared toe is balanced by a substantial, slightly flared block heel, giving the pair a sculptural but very wearable silhouette.

A broad ankle strap secures with a small metal buckle, lending the shoes a Mary Jane quality while keeping the overall look pared back and distinctly Prada. The combination of tactile textile, severe geometry and practical construction feels particularly characteristic of the brand’s 1990s minimalist-yet-experimental aesthetic.

A particularly good example of original 1990s Prada footwear, and very relevant again with the current revival of square toes, chunky heels and archival minimalist dressing.

Excellent vintage condition with little visible signs of previous wear. The textile uppers remain generally well preserved, with some light surface fuzzing and minor wear consistent with age. The leather insoles show creasing and wear from use, while the soles show clear contact wear to the forefoot. The glossy block heels retain a strong finish, with some light scuffing and tiny and hardly noticeable surface marks.
