A striking vintage sterling silver cocktail ring centred with a large elongated oval faceted stone in a warm smoky champagne-brown tone.

The gemstone is held in a traditional multi-claw setting that leaves much of the stone exposed, allowing light to pass through the facets and emphasise its depth and subtle tonal variations. The unusually elongated oval cut gives the ring a refined, almost architectural appearance, while the slender silver band keeps the overall design elegant rather than heavy.

The open-backed gallery has fine pierced detailing around the perimeter, characteristic of vintage stone-set silver jewellery and designed to maximise light beneath the stone.

Very good vintage condition with surface wear, light scratching, patina and tarnishing to the silver consistent with age. The gemstone shows some visible surface wear and minor marks under magnification. The setting appears intact and the stone remains securely mounted. Please refer to all photographs for condition.
